The Harry’s Hydro (4½ Walkers) Mendip Challenge
20th and 21st August 2011
Claire, Angie, Sally and Peter plan to walk from Weston-Super-Mare to Frome in one go - about 50 miles if we don’t get lost - in aid of Harry’s Hydro.
We have two meal stops along the way, and aim to complete the walk in about 26 hours from start to finish. Our support team have called it the Nutters’ Walk!
We are an experienced walking team, but with ages ranging between 40-something and 60 it will not be easy. Not forgetting Stew, our ½ walker who will join us along the way till he collapses! And we will be joined at stages by Annie the chocolate lab, and Ziggy and Gussy the Jack Russells…
